The CN3485W developed by Chipnorth Electronic Technology (Nanjing) Co.,Ltd is a 3.3V/5V, half-duplex, ±15kV ESD-protected RS-485/RS-422 transceiver circuit, which contains one driver and one receiver. The CN3485W has enhanced slew rate limiting, which helps reduce output EMI and reflections caused by mismatched terminal connections, and achieves 500kbps error-free data transmission. The CN3485W chip receiver input impedance is 1/8 unit load, allowing up to 256 transceivers to be connected to the bus for half-duplex communication. All driver outputs provide ±15kV human body model ESD protection, use 8-pin SO package, and operate in the -40℃ to +125℃ temperature range.
